The French Football Federation (FFF) announced that Didier Deschamps has agreed to remain as coach of France’s national team until 2026.

Deschamps was appointed in 2012, and since then the team has achieved numerous successes.

These include a Nations League title, as well as reaching the Euro 2016 and World Cup 2018 finals, where they won their second ever World Cup trophy.

In addition, despite suffering from injuries to key players during the recently finished World Cup in Qatar, France still managed to reach the final and nearly taste victory there.

Upon making the announcement of the new agreement, Coach Deschamps expressed his gratitude to those who have supported him over his years at the helm of this strong team and vowed to maintain France’s competitive edge on international level.
