Villarreal manager Qique Setien has admitted Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze may leave the club this summer.
The Villareal coach made this disclosure during his post match interview after the 2-2 draw vs Atletico Madrid to end the 2022/2023 La Liga season.
Villareal finished in 5th place on the log and will be playing in the UEFA Europa League next season.

When pressed for comments on the future of Samuel Chukwueze and other players , the former Barcelona manager Qique Setien said as quoted by El Periódico Mediterráneo:
“I think of them as people, Jackson has helped us a lot and has been a decisive player in this final stretch of the season.
“They will have to decide on their future, but we do not hide that they can leave . The same with Samu and with anyone, ”
His comments will fan speculations of a bid from Tottenham Hotspurs which will see the London club offer Giovani Lo Celso and cash to have the Nigerian winger.
Reports in Spain suggest the Yellow Submarine will consider a bid for Chukwueze who has just one year to go on his current contract to avoid losing him for free next summer.
