Calvin Bassey’s hand was on his waist every time in Ghana tie – Amokachi

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Former Nigerian international, Daniel Amokachi has criticized Super Eagles player, Calvin Bassey, after Ghana defeated Nigeria in a 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff on Tuesday.

Amokachi said Bassey was exhausted during the encounter at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

According to him, the defender was holding his waist almost every time during the tie, as two goals from Thomas Partey and William Troost-Ekong ensured both teams played a 1-1 draw in Abuja.

“(Frank) Onyeka’s injury affected the game, but the Ghanaians were tactically sound on the night,” Amokachi told SuperSport.

“And this is what you get when you have your team 99 percent built around players born overseas.

“Calvin Bassey was exhausted after the first half and you could see that he always had his hand on his waist each time. I don’t know why he was on for that long.”
