As the work to effortlessly make the inaugural edition of the CAF Super League successful gets intensified, CAF has announced the cash rewards for the competition.
The football body met last week with the concerned stakeholders, namely presidents of football associations and the representatives of top clubs in the continent where the decision to stage the competition was made.
CAF on Thursday announced a mouth-watering cash reward for the competition.
According to the football body, each of the 24 participating teams will get $1 million each while the winner will receive a whopping $10 million.
CAF also confirmed that the winner will get to represent the continent in the World club cup against the winner of the champions league that has been representing the continent in the past.
