With Cristiano Ronaldo’s saga still dragging on, Manchester United need to acquire another forward, thus, the Old Trafford club have already made their first moves to sign Benjamin Sesko.
According to the latest information, Slovenian media outlet, Sport Klub, United were monitoring the 19-year-old.
The talented teenager looked impressive in a pre-season friendly against Liverpool yesterday, scoring the only goal.
Sport Klub state that Sesko is enjoying his pre-season, before getting on the subject of United interest.
They state that the young man is already in the ‘spotlight’ while attracting interest from some ‘big European clubs’.
Apparently, United’s interest has ‘raised the most dust’, while the Reds have ‘already sent an offer’ to sign the player this summer.
On top of that, Sesko’s agent, Elvis Bašanović, has already met with Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund and talked about the future of the talented teenager.
It goes without saying, United will need an out-and-out striker if Ronaldo leaves.
Sesko is obviously immensely talented, but is he ready to make the jump up to the Premier League?
