Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Daichi Kamada, valued at €30 million by Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to a report by German outlet Frankfurter Rundschau, the Japanese international is the subject of interest from the La Liga heavyweights.
The Japanese midfielder has enjoyed a superb 2022/23 season thus far, amassing 12 goals and four assists in 22 appearances.
But Kamada’s contract status has left Eintracht Frankfurt in a spot of bother as he is in the final year of his deal. Such a situation has captured the attention of Barcelona.
With Sergio Busquets facing an uncertain future at Spotify Camp Nou, de Jong might be a long-term solution as the deepest midfielder.
