Awoniyi Historic Goal Earns Nottingham Forest Draw At Crystal Palace

Taiwo Awoniyi was on target as Nottingham Forest were held to a 1-1 draw Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park.

It was Awoniyi’s 11th league goal of the season for the Tricky Trees.

The Nigeria international now the first Nottingham Forest player to score 10 plus Premier League goals since 1994/95.

The 25-year-old opened scoring for Nottingham Forest on 31st minutes after he was set up by Morgan Gibb-White.

William Hughes equalised for Crystal Palace in the 66th minute.

Awoniyi’s international teammate Emmanuel Dennis missed the game as a result of injury.
