Awaziem Set To Join Greek Club Panathinakos On Permanent Deal

Super Eagles defender, Chidozie Awaziem is on the verge of completing a move to Greek club, Panathinakos.

Awaziem spent last season on loan at Croatian club, Hajduk Split from Portuguese club, Boavista.

The 26-year-old made 36 appearances for Hajduk Split with five goals and one assist to his name.

According to Greek news outlet, Dalmatinski, the versatile defender is Panathinakos’ top choice to reinforce their defence.

A move to Panathinakos will afford Awaziem the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Nigerian has two two years remaining on his contract with Boavista.
