Real Madrid began the defense of their Laliga trophy last night with a comeback win against Almeria.
Real Madrid conceded just after 8 minutes but goals from Vazquez and Alaba in the second half won the game for them.
Alaba scored with a free kick just after he was substituted in.
Speaking after the game, Ancelotti commented that although the game was not spectacular, he was happy with the result.
However, he was not quite impressed with the performance of both Tchuouameni and Camavinga.
According to him, both players did not show the qualities he sees in training.
“Tchouameni & Camavinga have not shown the quality that I see in training, it’s normal, this shirt is very heavy.”
Ancelotti was however full of praise for Eden Hazard. The player came into the game in the second half and helped the team.
“Hazard? He did a great job in tight spaces, he’s training well and he’s taking his time.”
