Peterside said this during an interview on Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily on Monday.

Tunisia eliminated Nigeria from the 2021 AFCON round of 16 tie on Sunday night at the Stade Roumde Adjia in Garoua, Cameroon, thanks to Youssef Msakni’s only goal of the match.

“We should have won that game [Nigeria vs Tunisia],” Peterside said.

“We were on the better side. We didn’t do what we should have done at the beginning of the game.
