Guinea-Bissau head coach, Baciro Cande says the team is ready to avenge their defeat to the Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Djurtus went down to a 2-0 defeat on that occasion with Umar Sadiq and vice-captain, William Troost-Ekong getting the goals.
The two teams will clash again on Friday (today) in a 2023 AFCON qualifier at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Cande stated that his team is battle ready to beat the Super Eagles this time around.
“We shall do everything possible to beat Nigeria in Abuja as revenge for the loss inflicted on us the last time we clashed at AFCON in Cameroon,” Cande told reporters.
It was a tough game and we gave it our best but lost. The quality of the Super Eagles gave them the victory.”
